FED Strengthens Academic and Industry Partnerships Through Strategic Agreements

The Faculty of Education at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) has formalized three significant partnership agreements in July, marking a strategic expansion of collaborative opportunities for students and faculty members.

Between July 16 and 23, the faculty signed cooperation agreements with three prominent organizations: the Mekong Development Research Institute (MDRI), Thang Long Centre of Education Accreditation (CEA), and IDEAS Ltd., Company. These partnerships are designed to enhance internship placements, recruitment opportunities, and research collaboration initiatives.
 

Key Partnership Details
Mekong Development Research Institute (MDRI) brings substantial research expertise to the collaboration. As Vietnam's leading economic research institute, MDRI specializes in critical development areas including poverty reduction, ethnic minority issues, rural development, labor market dynamics, migration patterns, and educational policy. The institute has established international recognition through its publications and maintains a focused mission on leading policy and development research throughout the Mekong region.

Thang Long Centre for Educational Quality Accreditation (CEA) represents the quality assurance sector in this partnership framework. Established in 2021 as a private quality assurance center, CEA holds accreditation from Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training. The organization provides comprehensive evaluation, certification, and consultancy services for higher education institutions and academic programs, with aspirations to achieve top national standing in alignment with ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) standards.

IDEAS Education JSC contributes technological innovation to the partnership portfolio. As an educational technology company, IDEAS specializes in interactive online course development, Learning Management System (LMS)-based training platforms, and lecture digitization services. Their offerings align with Vietnam's 2018 General Education Curriculum framework, supporting the company's ambitious goal to become the country's premier online training provider by 2030.
